Change date format
I'm an international user (New Zealand) trying out the free board.
It would be great if the date format could be changed so it is easier to use.

@Letty2b Next you'll be asking to use the (WAY more sensible) Metric System!
Full Disclosure: I do not work for PowerSchool

You probably have already found the solution to this date issue. I am also in New Zealand and manage 15 schools around the Pacific using PowerSchool. Your solution is to create a new Locale and define the settings you need. Follow this path in EUI. District School -> System Management -> Localization -> System Locales.
Create a new Locale with a name like English (NZ) and define your parameters. One of them is the Date format.
Make sure you make it the system default locale.
Warning: every so often you will see a date popup going back to the US date format. This is especially so with plugins and reports. If you know how to edit the html or sql files then change the 'MM/DD/YYYY' to '~[dateformat]'. This DAT then picks up the locale date format.
Good luck with your review and I am happy to assist a fellow countryman in any way needed.
And, yes, it's time the US went metric. From AI, Copilot.
There are three countries that have not fully adopted the metric system: the United States, Liberia, and Myanmar. While these countries use some metric units, they still rely heavily on their traditional systems of measurement.
