Student Mailings

I am being told that PowerSchool can only house one mailing address, but I can't imagine there aren't many kids from divorced families that need communication to both the mother and the father.   How do I get communication sent to both parents?

Hi @vwgirl5246

You can use Unlimited Contacts in PS SIS. Contacts can store multiple home and mailing addresses. The parents can be separate contacts each with their own mailing address.

For further assistance, we recommend reaching out to your district who should be able to assist you.

Is there a way to generate a list or report of parents who have requested dual mailings?

Seem to have located the issue.   There used to be a question in Power School Enrollment and in the yearly parent information update forms that go out to the community asking if the parents would like dual mailings, and the answer was a checkbox: click for yes.  This changed two years ago and the checkbox no longer exists on the form.  There is a field in SIS that is looking for the checkbox.

I have this very same question.  Divorced parents each wanting to receive a copy of the things that get mailed.  How can this be set up to automatically generated?
