I am the Student Information System Specialist at Rich Township District located in Illinois. I have not been in this district for long, before taking this position I worked with Michigan City Area Schools located in Indiana as their PowerSchool Administrator. Along with managing our SIS I also maintain the security, create and manage our student forms, manage the users and schools in Enrollment Express, clean up and submit all of the state reports that pertain to the SIS and train all staff excluding teachers within our district on how to navigate within PowerSchool. I also work with our Coordinator of Data and Assessments to help manage applications that work with PowerSchool. Before working with Michigan City Area Schools I worked in a school district located in Calumet City, IL. There I worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Principal of Building Control. That district used PowerSchool as well, I worked there for 14+ years. There are always new and exciting things to learn in PowerSchool and with PowerSchool products.
