Return to last screen message

In the nearly 15 years I've been using PowerTeacher, any time the system times me out and I log back in, a pop up message is at the top of my screen that says "Your session timed out due to inactivity. Would you like to restore your previous session and reload the last page you were viewing? YES NO". Clicking yes has never once, in all my teaching career, actually brought me back to the gradebook (the only other screen besides the home landing page I ever have pulled up). More than anything, the prompt is a nuisance. You cannot click anywhere else on your screen besides the YES or NO buttons, unlike on other websites where you can also click outside of the message box to clear it away. Most of the time, the screen that PowerTeacher will time out on is my landing page (Current Classes), so there is no point in prompting me to return to the last page I was on--I'm already on that page and now forced to take an extra step to access anything on the page.

I'm hoping that the powers that be see this message and consider this design feature that could be better. I can't find any other place to provide user feedback to PowerSchool.
