Course Name Change for Next Year

Hello!

I need to change a couple course names for the 24-25 school year without affecting the names for this current school year.

For example our Studio Workshop Photography for this school year will change to Advanced Visual Arts - Photography for 24-25, and I need to make that change now for our course offerings, but do not want it to change for this current 23-24 school year.

Was there a resolution to this? Is it possible to change Course data without impacting prior years?

Making a change to a course name or settings will have no impact on historical data, such as stored grades. Please make sure changes you make are in-line with the reporting requirements of wherever you are located.

Changes to course data will change all prior year versions of that course, correct? Not the historical grades - just the Course data.  If we change the name or credit values in 24-25 that will then change how the course data looks in all prior years - that's how I'm understanding this.  It sucks if that's the case - because we then have to create all new courses because of state reporting.
