How To: SchoolMessenger Communicate PowerSchool Plugin

The SchoolMessenger Communicate PowerSchool Plugin adds Message Sender to the Functions section of PowerSchool and SchoolMessenger to the Applications section.

 

 

Message Sender in PowerSchool

Use the Message Sender link in PowerSchool to broadcast messages to students without leaving PowerSchool. Note: permissions in PowerSchool do not necessarily transfer to SchoolMessenger, so additional configuration may be necessary.

 

To broadcast a message to students using Message Sender in PowerSchool, take the following steps:

 

  1. Log in to PowerSchool
  2. Select the users to whom the message should be sent
  3. Under Functions, select Message Sender

Continue building your broadcast as usual. Refer to the Send a New SchoolMessenger Broadcast - Subjects and Recipients for further support.

What happened to the Message Sender with the new enhanced user interface? I can't seem to find it anywhere?

Nevermind, I realized I need the updated plugin. i have opened a support ticket.

cmorganBCS - did you get the new plugin?  I'm in the same boat but haven't heard anything from my ticket.
