Emailing teachers issue

I got into my son’s PowerSchool to see his grades and everything and I went to try to email his teachers but it won’t let me. It’s asks me to use a host email which I chose google because I have gmail. I then signed in and when I went to email the teachers it kept asking me to use a host email and showed options. I have yet to be able to email them.

It's looking for a stand alone email application like Outlook.  If you right click on the teacher's name in Grades and Attendance, you can copy the email address and then paste it whatever web based email system you are using.
