What are Badges?

Badges are a visual representation of your activity in the Community. The more you post, reply, earn kudos, and have your responses selected as solutions, the more badges you can earn. 

What Badges Can users earn?

The badges that are available for you to earn can be seen under your Avatar, My Profile area. They will appear greyed until earned with increased participation.

I notice that some people have their badges appear with their responses while myself and others don't have their badges on their responses.

Is there a way to get a specific badge(s) to appear when making replies to other users?

@Reshma Here are some snips from forums that I have participated in recently where someone else has their badge(s) 

But my own comments don't show my Champion badge...unless it isn't visible to me as it's my own badge.
