Powerschool Data Transfer

First year with Powerschool at our district with no point of contact in district for PS troubleshooting (thank God for this community!)  Data uploads were done during summer break and student credits were uploaded to PS from our previous student information system. While going through the transcripts, counselors are finding a lot of mistakes and errors.. (For examplye: PS awarding extra 1/2 credits for classes that were never taken previously, OR not showing enough credits for classes taken previously.)

 

Is there an efficient way to do clean up for incorrect transcript credits from this data transfer?  As of now, we have been checking classes and credits, one student transcript at a time, line by line.

It's been a long long time since I implemented PowerSchool at another school (2005) so not sure if the process is still the same.  There should have been an implementation specialist assigned to your school/district that reviewed such imports, first as a test and then the rest of the data.  Each district (or in our case individual school) has a Customer Success Manager assigned. (Your trusted advisor who ensures alignment with your strategic goals and guides teams to maximize the value of your PowerSchool investment.) That person should be able to assist you in either reimporting the data correctly or helping to find someone to assist you in correcting the data.  Generally only the technical contact for the district/school has access to that individual.
