Linking siblings in PowerSchool

There used to be a way to link siblings in PowerSchool. I now can't find that button. Did it go away, or change names? Thank you for your help!

Hi Amy,

Call up the student. Click Student Profile > Click Associated Family Members

You can add or delete the family link.

Click Submit

Hi, 

Since my interface in PowerSchool was updated it no longer allows me to search for additional family members.  I follow all all the steps but when I hit submit nothing is generated.

Thank you for responding.  That is the way I have always linked students but now no results are generated not even students with the same last name.  I was informed by our district that you can only link students through a mass link that uses the student's phone number to link them.

Thank you for responding, I see that is the page for mass linking students and it is done by using the phone number.  Due to parents using Goggle phone numbers that change constantly it is hard to link actual family members and verity that they are family just by the phone number.  I have students registering all school year long so doing a mass link every time I have a new student seems like overkill.  But thank you for the suggestion.

You do not have to use the phone number; you can link by Family ID.
