Scanning in excuses to link them to students absences

I am wanting to scan doctors and parent excuses into power school to link them to the specific students absences. Is this currently something that you can do? It would in turn save on filing paper excuses and everyone that needed to see if an excuse was turned in could also view the excuse on the date of the absence. How would this be possible to do?

PowerSchool has an attachments feature that allows you to add documents to the student record. You can configure security for it as well. Attachments can only be seen on the Admin side of PowerSchool.

Are you able to attach it to an absence?

No, but you can add an attendance comment that says "See attachment" or something like that.
