Sending Text Messages to Teachers

This morning, we were asked by a school principal if it was possible to text teachers using SchoolMessenger. 

The teachers are not parents, therefore, do not get the text messages we send parents.

Is this possible, can we create a list with teacher cell phone numbers and upload it?

Hi there,

That is possible.

In our environment we have an Import for "Employees". We use Contact Type to indicate their position and School to indicate building.

Permits us to send broadcasts/sms messages to them, use it for emergency closures and the likes.

Here are the fields we send for staff from the district office, just like the student contact info:
