How To: SchoolMessenger Classroom Messaging

Classroom Messaging allows educators to quickly send pre-defined updates to parents regarding their children. Numerous pre-defined messages are available in Classroom Messaging, ranging from behavior notifications to performance notifications to assignment notifications. Note: Classroom Messaging is only available to those users whose subscription includes the classroom messaging feature.

 

Selecting Messages

  1. From the Dashboard, select the Broadcasts tab, then the Classroom sub-tab
  2. Select Pick Comments in the upper left corner
  3. Select one or more students, then tick the box next to each message you would like to send regarding that student
  4. If necessary, select Remark in order to add a custom message
  5. Select Done Picking Comments when finished. Messages will be sent automatically at the time scheduled by your administrator

Viewing Messages History

  1. From the Dashboard, select the Broadcasts tab, then the Classroom sub-tab
  2. Input the bounds of the time frame in which you are interested
  3. If necessary, input a specific student ID
  4. Select Filter
