SchoolMessenger CMA: Airship for Push Notifications

Custom App uses Airship (formerly Urban Airship) to enable Push notifications and cross-channel messaging.

API Keys Requirement

When re-publishing a custom app:

1. Go to the Application Administration section in the builder platform.

2. Ensure all required API keys are added correctly.

3. Verify that the keys are properly configured before completing the re-publish.

Important:

• If API keys are not added correctly, push notifications and cross-channel messaging will not work as expected.

• Once enabled correctly, the push notifications feature becomes active and can be used to send notifications to various schools via content channels.
