How To: Create Apple App Store Connect API Key for SchoolMessenger

This article includes information on the steps necessary to create an API Key in Apple's App Store Connect portal.

Solution

1. Log in to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/.
2. Select your application.
3. Select the User and Access tab and select the Keys tab.
4. Select the App Store Connect API tab.
5. Select Generate API Key or the + button.
6. Input the Name and set the access to App Manager.
7. Select Generate.
8. Select Download to save the API key.
9. Copy the Issuer ID and the KEY ID for your new key.
10. Please send an email to appdev@schoolmessenger.com with the full name of your district in the email subject line. In the email, include the Issuer ID, the KEY ID and the API file you created for your application.
