SchoolMessenger Attendance Call stop working on 2/28
Our SchoolMessenger attendance calls are no longer running. The last date was 2/28/2025

It is indeed a host key verification failure; at least in my case. I found a discussion thread on the PowerSchool User Group with the suggestion to accept a new host key, which seems to have fixed the issue for us. You can do so by going to Plugin Management -> Manage Remote Connections, select the SchoolMessenger connection, test the connection, then accept the new host key.

Similar issue: as of 2/28/25 export from PowerSchool SIS to SchoolMessenger is failing. A host key verification failure, possibly?
