My name is Juliane Jelonek from AIS Salzburg (Austria) . We are facing issues and still have a few parents not being able to log onto their children PS accounts or failing setting it up. I'll attach all screenshots and email correspondence. We don't know how to solve this error. Could you have a look through the attachment and try to find a solution? Our academic school year started 3 month ago and some parents still cant access their children's grades (as we are a boarding school).Here some parent emails:
"Good morning, Mrs Jelonek,
I understand, I need to set up an account. We already tried this at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately, a verification email never arrived. I have now tried to set up a different new account with a new email address, and so far, no email for confirmation or verification has arrived. That seems to be where the problem lies."

Thank you for providing the details and parent feedback. Based on the information shared, this appears to be a system-level issue related to account verification emails not being generated or delivered, rather than a parent user error.
Since multiple parents have:
Attempted initial account setup
Tried different email addresses
Checked spam/junk folders
Still not received verification emails
the issue is likely connected to one of the following:
Email server configuration (SMTP settings)
Domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
PowerSchool email delivery settings
District-level parent portal configuration
Email suppression or bounce lists within PowerSchool
Because this involves backend email delivery and possibly system configuration, this is not something that can typically be resolved at the school level.
I strongly recommend that AIS Salzburg submit a formal support ticket directly to PowerSchool Support. When submitting the ticket, include:
Screenshots of the error messages
Parent email addresses affected
Dates and times of attempted registrations
Confirmation that spam folders were checked
Your PowerSchool instance number
Whether other system-generated emails are sending successfully
Given that this issue has been ongoing for three months and affects parent access to grades — especially important in a boarding school environment — it should be flagged as high priority.
Until resolved, one possible temporary workaround is having your PowerSchool administrator manually verify and activate parent accounts (if permitted within your configuration).
This situation clearly requires backend investigation from PowerSchool Support to review email logs and server delivery status.
