Q&A: Limitations & Terms

Summary

To ensure a smooth renewal process and uninterrupted service, implementation should be completed within the agreed timeline. If delays occur, it's important to contact your Implementation Project Manager or Customer Success Manager to discuss next steps or possible adjustments.

Question

Does the school need to complete the implementation within one year of purchasing a new product?

Answer

Yes, implementation should be completed within the agreed-upon timeline to ensure that the renewal process for the second year proceeds as scheduled. You can find this information by logging into the PowerSchool Community, navigating to the Customer Connect tab, and selecting Services.

Question

If the customer extends the implementation period by 3 months due to internal school issues, should they be charged for 9 months instead of 12 months?

Answer

Typically, service fees cover a full 12-month period regardless of implementation delays. However, if your implementation is extended, we recommend contacting your Implementation Project Manager to discuss your specific situation and explore any potential adjustments. You can view your Implementation Project  Manager and other project details by logging into the PowerSchool Community, navigating to the Customer Connect tab, and selecting Services (accessible to Technical Contacts only).
