High School choice

Hi everyone my name is Jessica and I am new to Connecticut. My 14-year-old son Will be attending the 10th grade in September 2021. My question is can we choose the school that my son wants to go to or does he have to go to the school that’s in our district? Who can I get in contact with to discuss this matter or email in regards to this. I appreciate the help with any. Single mom here

Enrollment forms vary for each school or district.  Generally, school districts list the instructions to apply to the different schools on their websites, here is an example.

A lot of districts offer School Choice forms upon acceptance to the district.  We recommend reaching out to the school or district directly for up-to-date information.
