Special Programs : IEP must be created at the Responsible School

Does anyone know how to solve this problem if it happens from within Powerschool Special Programs? A teacher is trying to go into the IEP/SP to add the student's information and gets this

The Individualized Education Program (IEP) cannot be created because of the following reason(s):

IEP must be created at the Responsible School.

I am seeing this same error and when I checked the school for the student and TOR they were both accurate.

Maybe this will help. The teacher trying to edit this IEP is trying to do so for a private school student we serviced last year. This year we are not servicing them any longer, but we are needing to get a final parental decline from them (I think) Bottom line, I'm wondering if only the private school has access to the IEP now and we have lost control of it??

We are having this issue, too, when trying to create initial paperwork for a new preschool student.

For us to fix this issue, we had to make sure that the primary school box was checked on the student information page. This was checked through the SIS system and then updated in Powerschool Special Programs within 10-15 minutes.

We are having the same issue for several students.  The Primary box is checked, they are at the school they were at last year for one of them, and the other is a move-in.  The enrollment seems to look fine.

Same issue here.  I am at my second job and wondered if it meant I had to be on the same IP address as my school district.  Time will tell what the issue is...

I have the same message for ALL of my students (I was trying to work from home). Getting help through PS was impossible.

We are also getting this error with several of our move in students even though the school enrollments look correct.

I've been told by Powerschool that this is currently a global issue they are working on resolving.
