We had a teacher report a potential bug with PDFs and we wanted to share.
- I created a practice test in Google docs and downloaded it as a PDF.
- Then, in Preview on my laptop, I added a bunch of text boxes with
answers to create a key. - I saved that PDF with the text boxes and uploaded it to Schoology,
- but when viewed in Schoology, none of the text boxes are there, only
the underlying questions from the original Google doc. - When downloaded from Schoology, the text boxes reappeared, so I can
tell they were never deleted, but somehow refused to display. - I went back to Preview and this time went the "File>Print>Save as PDF"
route. - That new "printed" version does display correctly when uploaded to
Schoology.
