How to exclude manually scheduled students from Load in PowerScheduler

We schedule most of our students via the Student Requests screen in PowerScheduler.  We have a few students that we want to manually schedule into one particular section and for the Load Process not to change these classes, is there a way to Lock these sections?

Use the Student Preference Constraint. The Load process will honor those. The students will still need a course request but the Load will place them in the exact course/section you want.

If you have a ton I can share an import template with you.

Hi Jeff, I do have a follow up question.  You mention that a course request will still be needed, can you explain why?  Thank you.

Just the way PowerScheduler works. If a student doesn't have a course request they won't load into a section of said course.

If you could share the template that would be great.  Thanks so much for your response.

Here you go. Please note that you need the internal student ID, not student_number. The field is "ID". You can also see the ID on the student's teacher comments page.

Once complete, import into the ScheduleContraints table via Quick Import. The Constraint Code is 05.
