Quick context.... I am in an international school, with children from over 60 countries. The school has about 200-250 boarders as well.
A colleague and I are looking to celebrate student successes with parents through PowerSchool. At present, teachers assign a positive log entry when a student achieves above and beyond expectation, but that goes into PS and nowhere else, unless someone does the leg work of collating the achievement list, writing a mail to parents and hitting send. This is very time consuming and not an effective or efficient process.
Does anyone know if a school can programme PS to send bespoke mails (mail to be created by us in school) that are automatically sent to parents of a child who receives a positive log entry for their achievement?
I'm receiving a straight no by our admin guys in school but AI suggests otherwise, so I thought I would reach out here in case anyone has experience of this.
