Assignments Not Calculating into Final Grade

Hello, I am having trouble with a specific class and entering assignments. I have the categories and weights set up correctly as far as I can tell however when I enter grades in certain categories, it does not impact the final grade. I will post screenshots of the weights, assignments, and an example of the grade not working. Any idea why the calculations are not working?

You should review the grade calculation you are using for Q3. Are you weighting the correct categories?

The first picture in my post is the grading weights for Q3. Is there another place to double check it? I believe it is correct but to be fair I am new to using powerschool

Ugh I did not notice that. Sorry about that! You may want to check if you are using the drop low scores option which you can see via the Drop Low Scores tab on the calculation setup.

In order to protect your privacy and avoid sharing of any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) data in the Community, we recommend reaching out to the Technical Support Contacts of your district who should be able to connect with the PowerSchool SIS Support Team on your behalf. The Support Team would be able to take a closer look at the assignments and help rectify the reason for this issue along with the troubleshooting steps.

You need to have at least one assignment in EVERY category. Unless they are not shown in the screenshot you only have two categories utilized. Try entering a score in the other missing three as well.

You do not need an assignment in every category for PT Pro to calculate a grade. If you have unused categories, PT Pro will redistribute the percentage weight from the unused categor(ies)y to the remaining categories, using the weight of the categories in use.
