Here's some impressive things I've heard schools are doing and I thought I would share...Feel free to share things your district is doing...we are in this together. 🙂
- Illinois’ schools have found so many creative ways to meet students’ needs during this crisis.
- Belleville Township High School uses buses to provide WiFi hotspots next to which families can park and download their students’ homework assignments.
- Lake Louise Elementary teachers recently “rode along” with school buses via a Chromebook set up by the bus door to greet their students (virtually, of course) when families got their meal delivery.
- Districts are still having their meetings via Zoom or Google Hangouts.
- Some districts are using the full version of Acrobat reader to collect signatures that way. Others are using DocuSign.
