Summary

The SchoolMessenger SM Sender App has had a new release pushed to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The main focus of this release was support for iOS 17 and Android 14. A few issues were also addressed.

This notification is only for users of the SchoolMessenger SM Sender App.

Details

Here are the details for SM Sender App v 3.0.2 (iOS) and v3.0.2 (Android)

• Support to run on iOS 17 and OS 14 (minimum installed versions are now iOS16 on Apple and OS 11 on Android) 
• Updated recipient count list. The calculation of recipient list counts had changed and has now been updated to reflect the same information that is seen in Communicate Message Sender. Look for more changes in the SM Sender App in the future to reflect the work being done in Communicate Message Sender.
• Updated Android Mic permissions (broken as a result of Android OS 14 but now working as expected)
• A bug fix for where in some cases, recipient lists were not loading and then erroring out.

Process

Once approved by the App Stores, the app will display a pop-up on next launch advising there is a new version to download.
