Multilingual Form Support: Users will now be able to translate the forms using the language selector dropdown on the top right corner of the screen. Please refer to the image below for clarification.
Non-Translatable Elements: Based on the feedback received from School Districts, the translation does not apply for School Name, Permission Click logo and other branding logos due to privacy limitations.
Error Message Translation: For ease of parents, the error messages on the forms are also translated based on the selected language.
If the language is changed with the error message visible on screen, the message will be translated to the recent selection.
Navigation Translation: All the navigation elements and dropdowns will also be translated to the selected language.
Limitation:
- If Rich Text is being used in forms, then translation service would not be able to replicate the same formatting in the translated text. This is due to a longstanding limitation on the Google Translate API which doesn’t allow HTML tags to be transferred.
