256000 Characters Limit

Hello! 

We have run into a error message when trying to copy/paste a jpeg into School Messenger. Parents prefer to just open the email with the pasted newsletter/jpeg, instead of clicking an attachment link to download a pdf. Every time we are trying to paste our JPEG in we receive this error message: Body cannot be more than 256000 characters long. I have tried resizing and lowering the quality of the jpeg with no luck. This is a new error message as of this September. In past years this was how we had always sent out communications (and prefer it this way).

When you say Copy/Paste do you mean you are right clicking on the image selecting copy and then pasting it directly into the email body of the SchoolMessenger broadcast?

Have you tried importing the image using the WYSIWYG editor?
