Contact information from your Student Information System is imported into SchoolMessenger Communicate, allowing users to view and understand how recipients will receive broadcast messages.

Viewing Contact Information

 

Viewing Contact Details will help you understand how SchoolMessenger Communicate will send messages to a record imported and will help you know what data (phone number, email address, and SMS number) will be used to deliver messages to from a broadcast.

From Dashboard select System Tab

 

Step 1: Select Contact then use the Search Option "Search for Person"

Search using one of:

  1. Name
  2. Phone number
  3. ID
  4. Email address

 

Step 2: Search Results will display records

Select Unique ID or Destinations link to view contact information

 

Step 3: Contact Details Chart Contains Data From Data Import Manager

The Destinations column contains Phone, Email, and SMS information. The Broadcast Types are in columns with checks below denoting if a message will be sent to the Destination information.

 

NOTE: Phone, Email, and SMS have been blanked out in example above for privacy reasons.
