SchoolMessenger Communicate supports the import of student schedule data so that students can be targeted for broadcasts based on the classes and sections in which they are enrolled. This resource includes information on the student schedule data import process.
Student schedule data is imported using two separate files: a Section Data File and an Enrollment Data File.
The Section Data File includes data about the classes offered at each school. This file does not include any specific student information. The Enrollment Data File includes specific student information that maps students to the classes in which they are enrolled.
All files prepared for import should be saved in an ASCII encoded Comma Separated Values (CSV) file format with a Carriage Return (CR) and line feed (LF) at the end of each record.
Section data defines the attributes of each class offered at each school. Each section should be entered as its own unique record in an import file. Can filter the list by class or section.
The following table includes information on the different fields of a Section Data File:
Field Description | Max Characters | Required |
