SchoolMessenger CMA: Updating Application Icon and Launch Screen Images

Prerequisites

• Only App Moderators and PS employees with access to the app builder platform can execute these updates.

 

Update the Application Icon

1. Navigate to Design → Smartphone section (App Emulator).

2. Click the Graphics icon on the top navigation bar.

3. You will see two update options:

   • One for iOS devices

   • One for Android devices

4. Select the appropriate option and upload the new application icon.

Update Launch Screen Images

1. In the same Design → Smartphone section, scroll below the "Update Application Icon" option.

2. You will see options to upload launch screen images in various formats:

   • 19.5:9

   • 16:9

   • 3:2

   • 4:3

3. For each format:

   • Follow the required image format and size specifications.

   • Upload the corresponding launch screen image.

4. After uploading all images, click the yellow "Re-publish" button to publish changes to the live app.

Troubleshooting: Re-publish Button Not Working

• If the Re-publish button does not work:

  • An app republish will be required to make the changes live.

  • Contact the appropriate team or follow the app republish process to complete the update.
