How Students Can Complete a Survey in Naviance

Schools use Naviance surveys to better understand student needs, interests, and aspirations after high school. When students answer survey questions carefully and honestly, counselors and teachers can use that information to create stronger programs and better support their goals. This quick guide walks you through how students can find, complete, and submit a survey in Naviance.

How do students find a survey in Naviance?
Students start by logging in to their school’s Naviance Student site. From the dashboard, they click the About Me tab and then open Surveys from Your School or the assigned graduation survey.

How do students complete a survey?
After opening the survey title, students should read each question carefully before answering. Students should answer honestly and avoid rushing! If they have questions, they should ask a counselor or teacher for help and complete the survey before the deadline. Depending on the survey, they may see multiple choice questions, short answers, checkboxes, rating scales, or required fields that must be completed before moving on.
