Register a returning student

I'm trying to do the registration for my daughter but it says I have a required field that isn't filled out. I get that. However, the field is Relationship to Student for Contact 1. I have no drop-down box like on the other contacts and it won't allow me to type anything in.

You have to removed the contact and re-enter all the information. This must be an error in the platform.
