Need details on enrolling to Magnet school

Hi,

Greetings!
My kid 8years old studying 2nd grade. Current he going to one of WCPSS public school nearby my address.

I tried to enroll him for Magnet Elementary school for next academic year however I am getting STOP message that your son is already studying in one of WCPSS school and you cannot apply. Contact current school for more details.

Can we not apply to WCPSS Magnet School if he is already studying in WCPSS non magnet School?

Kindly advise us.
