Troubleshoot: Access the Form using PowerSchool Parent Portal

Issue

My school told me to complete my form in PowerSchool, but I don’t know where to find it.

 

 

Audience

  • Are you logged in to PowerSchool?
  • Are you trying to access a form through PowerSchool?
  • Are you having trouble finding a form in PowerSchool?
  • Do you have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account?

 

Resolution steps

If you are trying to find a form in PowerSchool:

 

  1. Log in to PowerSchool
    • If you  need your Access ID or Access password, please contact the School directly.

  2. Select the correct Student from the top left of the screen.
    • If you need to add the student to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account, follow the instructions in the Adding a Student to Your Parent Portal Account document (also attached at the bottom of this article). 

  3. Once you have the correct student selected back on the main screen of your Parent Portal account, you will access your form in one of two ways:

    1. Option 1:
      • On the right, inside the dark blue banner, is an Icon of arrow pointing up or a plug.
      • Click the Icon
      • After clicking the icon you will see Enrollment
      • Begin your form.
    2. Option 2:
      • In the left-hand navigation bar click the Enrollment link.
      • Begin your form

 

Still Not Working?

If getting an error

    • there may be an issue with your PowerSchool ID, please contact your school directly for assistance with your PowerSchool ID
    • the form might not yet be available for your student, please contact your school directly to find out when the form will be available
    • the form may have been started under another account, please contact the school directly to cancel an in-progress form

I AM LOOKING FOR THE SCHOOL DISTRICT ALONG WITH THE STUDENT ID IT WILL NOT LET ME COMPLETE THE FORUMS. I AM TRYING TO FINISH  THE OPT OUT FOR MASKS. HOW DO I FINISH  SETTING UP THE PARENT STUDENT PORTAL? ALSO THE MOBILE APP WILL NOT LET ME DO ANYTHING WITHOUT A SCHOOL DISTRICT CODE I CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE I AM NEW TO THIS. MY DAUGHTER IS ATTENDING KINDERGARTEN THIS YEAR AT THE  FRANKLIN ACADEMY K-12 PINES LOCATION. I HAVE ALSO TRIED TO CALL THE SCHOOL MANY TIMES AND NO ANSWER ALONG WITH VOICMAILS AS WELL.

Each school has a different process and can provide the best steps to move forward. Please refer to this article: How do I log into PowerSchool, to know the steps to setup up your Parent Portal.

 

This article: How can I find my District Code will guide you on the process to obtain your District code and log in to your PowerSchool SIS Mobile App.

 

Sometimes the enrollment decisions are made at a district level, so if you continue to face issues with the registration, you can directly reach out to the district.

If we go in an disable the parent/student portal and the teacher portal, how will parents be able to enroll students and complete enrollment information? Is there a way to just unshare student schedule in the portal?

I’ve finally added all student’s but I have no idea how too access federal forms. Their grades etc

What do we do as a parent if our child has somehow locked us out and we can't get back in
