taking attendance in a 7th hour
I have a bell schedule set up for our activity days. We have shortened classes hours 1-6 and then our activity at the end of the day, once a month. I am not sure how to make it so that we can take attendance that 7th hour. How can I set this up. Thank you!

Add that period to your Bell Schedule those days.

Thanks for replying. I have added it to my bell schedule but when I go to that day that hour is all greyed out. Is there some place I need to allow for 7 hours? Thank you for your help!

To take attendance, the class needs to be in a period (expression, or what I think you are referring to as "hour") that is in the bell schedule and a cycle day that is in session on the school calendar. See attached.
