Recalculating Grades

Hello! We needed to change our default grades to eliminate any minuses or pluses..so no A- or A+ just an A. Our tech admin did it on his end, but it wasn't showing up in PowerTeacher Pro, so I went to PTPro/Settings/Class Grade Scale/Default and clicked on the gear to recalculate final grades, checked the box for traditional grades (which we use) and refresh assignments, then clicked on Recalculate and nothing happened, although the pop up said it did. These grades are created in the Admin/District setting so I am not really sure if it can be done in PowerTeacher, rather on the Admin side. Please advise.

Thanks in advance!

Sally

It sounds like you're trying to adjust the grading scale for your school's PowerTeacher Pro system to eliminate plus and minus grades (e.g., A+, A-, etc.) and ensure only traditional grades (e.g., A, B, C) are used. While you made an attempt through PowerTeacher Pro settings, this may need to be configured at the district level, as you mentioned. It's important to work closely with your district's PowerSchool administrators because making changes at the district level typically affects all schools within the district. They will have the necessary permissions and tools to implement the desired changes and ensure consistency across the entire district.
