Re-Enrollment vs Re-register

I am a school secretary.  A student transferred as of 11/27.  The family is no longer moving and decided to have him come back 11/29.  Can we re-enroll him in Functions or does he need to be re-registered?

I would re-enroll him and give him his schedule.
