More intutive wayfinding in forum

As a new family to a school that uses PowerSchool, when I came here to find help.  

Identifying where to go within this Community area is confusing.   

As someone who only knows that the tool being used by our school ends with powerschool.com, that is the extent of my knowledge.

I dont know if one of the iterations of SchoolMessenger is being used, or one of the Families, or what other sub products are being used.  

The issue that brought me to this support has to do with registrating an account with my school's instance.

The closests existing discussion was found in the "Enrollment Family Support" forum but I have no idea if thats the correct place.  

The information architecture/labeling of this forum seems like it could use some help.

For new families using PowerSchool, the community forum's structure can be confusing. The current organization, with forums for specific products like "Enrollment Family Support" or "SchoolMessenger," assumes a level of familiarity that new users often lack. A more intuitive approach would be to create a simple, top-level forum specifically for "New Family Help" or "Account Registration & Access." This would provide a clear starting point for users who only know their school uses a PowerSchool product and are looking for help with common issues like setting up their initial account. This change would reduce the time and frustration spent navigating the forum, allowing families to quickly find the assistance they need.

There is honestly no good reason for a parent/student user to be on this forum looking for assistance, as it isn't tied to any PS Instance/District. If you need assistance contact your family's school directly.
