Master Schedule Editing to Fix errors edits lost on reload

My question - after I run the load and students are scheduled, I have to fix the errors. I’ve gone into a student’s schedule made the necessary fixes but they don’t save when I run the load again. I’ve done some research and this is in fact the case, however I can’t seem to find out how to save the changes once I run the load again. Any insight?

Do you mean actual "Data Errors" from the Load?

Or are you saying you run a Load, make manual changes, then run another Load and your manual changes are wiped out? Yes, that is the expected behavior, and there is no way to avoid that.

If you want to run a Load for just a selection of students, select them first and use the Reschedule option. See attached.

Thank you for your quick reply!

I’ve tried the reschedule option and it still doesn’t save.

Yes I'm trying to fix errors from Load.

Epected behavior?  I modify the students but my modifications aren't saved.  What is the correct process to fix build errors?

I don't think we are talking about the same things. You are mentioning errors in the Build and errors in the Load. The Build process and Load process are two distinct things. The Build will fail with errors, so if you have completed (and Imported! Don't forget to Import) a Build you have no more Build errors.

If this is case, the Load is your issue.

Could you provide a very specific example of your issue? What "modification" are to making to the students? As I said, if you are running a Load (and Importing it! The Importing after you run a Load is what actually places the students into their schedules), then making manual changes to a student's schedule, running and importing another Load will wipe out the manual modifications you previously made. This is the expected behavior of PowerScheduler--running/importing a Load wipes out all hand-scheduling you have done previously.
