Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble when trying to open or embed learning tools that are hosted outside of powerschool. One example I’ve been testing comes from this page: https://blxfruitscript.com/redz-hub-blox-fruits-script/
When this kind of external tool is launched from inside powerschool, it either fails to load, shows a blank page, or gets blocked by the browser. Sometimes I also see security warnings related to cross-site content, mixed content, or iframe restrictions, which makes it hard for students to access the resource.
I’m trying to figure out whether this is mainly caused by powerschool’s security settings, the way external sites deliver their scripts and pages, or a combination of both. Are there recommended settings or best practices for allowing third-party tools to work reliably inside powerschool without creating security risks?
If anyone has dealt with similar integration or access issues, I’d really appreciate some advice on how you handled it.
To fix this, ensure the external resource uses HTTPS to avoid mixed-content blocks, and check if the site's headers allow it to be embedded; if not, you may need to link it as an external URL that opens in a new tab rather than an iframe.
yes websites always works better with https instead of http such as you mentioned above about redz hub script and I absolutely loved it. I have the same experience with grow a garden script and it is amazing.
