Does anyone know how to add scheduled medical/nursing procedures to the Day Sheet??
I'm referring to things that we sometimes get doctor's orders for such as in/out catheterization q#h, tube feedings, ostomy care, etc. I have reviewed every medication/procedure listed under "medication requirements;" the only procedures/tasks listed as options to "schedule/add" to the Daily Sheet are-- Blood sugar check, Ketone Check and Suctioning. There is not an option for something like a general/basic "procedure," "other" or "miscellaneous" to choose then add the procedure details in the comment section.
As the school/campus nurse that sees these kids everyday, I know who comes in for what & when....so I usually just chart an office visit and list the procedure details in the comment box. But our sub nurses rely on our Daily Sheet in PowerSchool/eSchool+ to know which student comes for daily medication, medical/nursing procedures, etc and when.
