Does PowerSchool have a calendar function to sync to Mobile APp or a phone calendar?
I know how to configure the School Calendar in Scheduling, but is there a calendar function whereby school events can be added that appear in the student App calendar?
I have searched and searched but cannot find anything on this.
And if there is a whole school event calendar, is it possible to sync to ones individual calendar (e.g. Gmail or Outlook or iPhone?)
Or is there a possibility to sync a Gmail/M365 calendar to Powerschool Events calendar and sync it?
Great question.. I’ve also been looking into ways to make school events more accessible for students and parents. A native sync feature to phone calendars would be super helpful. If anyone’s managed to integrate PowerSchool with Google or Outlook calendars, I’d love to hear how it’s working for your school.
I would also like to figure this one out. We are a smaller school and are just starting with PS SIS & Enrollment. Now we are trying to figure out an event calendar. Anyone have any luck syncing an outlook or google calendar? Or even a website link?
I have found a workaround. Because we use Schoology, I can add all students to an empty course called something like 'WholeSchool Calendar'. That way anything I post in that course calendar appears in each students' calendar.
Next step: instruct students how to sync their Schoology calendar to their phone. Everything I add to WholeSchoolEvents Calendar syncs to their phones. Tested it with test student and it seems to work.
