Hi everyone. I am new to PS Community and I am hoping someone might have a quick answer for me. One of our Admin Assistants inadvertenly set up a quarter term in the current year when she was in the process of setting up Years and Terms for 2026/2027. There is no data associate with this quarter (she just did this on Friday). Is there a way to delete this? When I did a search it does not recommend but it also does not tell me how to do it. I did read that you can can change the status of the quarter to inactive and it wouldn't show but again, doesn't say how to do that. Any suggestions out there?
Good morning,
I believe you can delete it. If it is not tied to anything, there should be no problem. I would just make sure that you select the correct term to delete.
Terms in Years & Terms can be deleted via DDA, but you would need to be extremely careful.
That is what I am going to try. I worked SIS a few years ago and I know you can do it as long as you are 100% sure that there is no marks/attend etc. associated.
Just need a refresher in DDA so I am going to do some more digging. Thanks JeffG9!
This worked well. Ran reports to be sure no associations and then deleted via DDA. Thanks again @JeffG9
