Clearing attendance for a student that has been transferred to another district

I am having issues clearinng attendance for a student who has been transferred to another district. The student was coded UA for 2 days with our districe, while the new district was already coding the student Present in their district. Can anyone help.

Search for the student in the building they were transferred out from with a / before the parameter, such as:

/last_name=smith

Once you have the student, go into their profile and blank out the attendance.

But, this is not truly creating blank attendance, right? If your default blank code is Present, then they would be marking the student present with Jeff's method described here.
