Character Length Error Message

I'm getting an error message that saying i've exceed the 256000 character limit. My message only has 4800 characters. I've tried just about everything to get this resolved. Updated my browser, tried a different laptop, pasted as plain text. Nothing worked. I even waited a few days to see if it would go away. 

Any help would be appreciated. I'm also not sure if the K-12 Social is even the right too. It may be PermissionClick. I have never heard those names, only SchoolMessenger.

The 256000 error is a new error for us as well. (School Messenger) (September 2025) 

As a workaround, we put the message into Google Docs, and then linked to the Google Doc in School Messenger. However, that creates one more step for the parent. Parents can no longer see the message when they open the initial email.

I am opening a case and I'll let you know what they say.
