Can I schedule a class ( advisory ) twice on the same day ?

Hi !

This is Carolina, from Lincoln School, Buenos AIres , Argentina

Advisory will meet twice on our first day of school ( in the morning and before the dismissal ) , but when creating the special bell schedule , it won't let me schedule advisory twice.

Is there a way to do this ?

Gracias

Sure you can schedule a course to have multiple sections in a single day. You can also schedule a section to meet multiple periods during the day. See attached.

Thank you Jeff !

I may have not been clear... is not a section of the same class. It's the same class ( Advisory) which does not have multiple sections ( students are enrolled in one section)

Advisory meets daily ( just once a day) but on the first day they'll meet (the same group of students) from 8:00 to 8:20 in the morning and then from 2:30 to to 2:45 in the afternoon.

I was talking about the bell schedule.

I would like to add it after H block, so it's on the stucent's schedule

I see. PowerSchool will not allow the same period twice in the Bell Schedule. You would have to edit the section itself, but if there is any attendance associated at all with the section you will not be able to adjust the expressions afterwards. Unless I am misunderstanding I do not think you can do what you'd like.

You can. We have multiple periods tied to one section.

@nicolebond That's what I thought they wanted to do as well, but I do not think that is the case.
