More than a place to browse jobs, the portal creates a compelling, immersive experience that reflects your district’s identity, values, and culture - helping candidates quickly envision themselves as part of your organization and motivating them to apply.

Designed with both administrators and candidates in mind, the Enhanced Candidate Portal makes it easier to configure district details, update branding, and support recruiting efforts through a more polished applicant experience.
What is the Enhanced Candidate Portal?
The Enhanced Candidate Portal is the applicant-facing experience within PowerSchool Applicant Tracking where candidates learn about your district and explore job opportunities. From branding to organizational details, this portal helps districts present consistent, accurate, and engaging information to prospective applicants.
What can administrators configure in the Enhanced Candidate Portal?
Administrators can manage the Enhanced Candidate Portal by first selecting Configure > Candidate Portal from the top navigation, then clicking the Configure Candidate Portal button. This option is available to System Admins only and opens the Enhanced Candidate Portal configuration area.
From there, admins can access two main areas:
Configuration
The Configuration area allows districts to set up their information and branding. Updates made here directly impact what applicants see when they visit the portal.
Sourcing
Sourcing empowers districts to build a strong recruiting pipeline by connecting hiring teams with a vast network of qualified K-12 job seekers and enabling targeted outreach to fill positions faster. This feature is available as an additional service. Districts that do not see Sourcing enabled can contact their district representative or PowerSchool Support for assistance.
What can be updated under the Organization tab?
The Organization tab controls the content that appears under the applicant-facing About page. Admins can update the following sections:
