I was born and raised by a Christian family, in the U.S.A. We were very active in church. I grew up in a very small town of less than 4,000 people. After graduating from High School, I moved to Texas in order to study at LeTourneau University to be a missionary pilot. However, through a course of events and a change of heart & major to Cross Cultural studies with an emphasis in Bible, God changed my path. My desire was to be an evangelistic missionary working in an intercultural setting planting churches and seeing people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I wanted to do this more than anything else. From LeTourneau I transferred to Toccoa Falls College in Georgia to finish my undergraduate degree earning a Bachelor of Science in Missiology with a minor in Biblical Greek and a concentration in Church Planting. From there I went on to do my graduate work at Columbia International University in South Carolina. I completed my Master of Arts degree there in Teaching English as a Foreign Language with an emphasis in Intercultural Studies. I also hold a teaching certification issued by Columbia International University. I have held various jobs throughout my life from being a stock boy in a pharmacy and grocery store to construction and even working in a Library. I have waited tables in restaurants and done landscaping. I taught physical education courses in Multimedia First Aid and CPR at the university level. I taught computer application classes at Columbia International University and worked as the Computer Lab Supervisor for the same school. I worked in retail sales as a Computer Specialist and also was a technology consultant to a fortune 500 company. I have worked in a privately-owned Thai school as a teacher, teaching English as a Foreign Language in Bangkok, Thailand. I have been a Senior Product Manager of a team for a telecommunication company in the U.S. I have worked as a professional project manager. I have traveled several places in the world. I have been all throughout the United States, up into Canada and down into Mexico. I have traveled to Portugal, Spain, Andorra, and France. I have been to Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Burma as well as Germany, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Dubai UAE, Ghana, and Afghanistan. I have been to places in South America such as Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia. I have worked for the Network of International Christian Schools (a mission organization) for over 20 years. My wife and I transitioned to Seoul, South Korea in January 2020 where I will serve as the director of technology. I have served as the director of American International School in East Legon, Accra, Ghana West Africa. Some other assignments I’ve had with the Network of International Christian Schools have been serving as the Information Technology Director, project manager in charge of starting new schools; before that I was the Director of the NICS School in Bandung, Indonesia. Previous to that I served as the secondary principal in Bangkok, Thailand at International Community School. I served as the Director of NorthStar Academy, an accredited online school, serving students in over 60 countries around the globe. I have also been the Director and Academic Principal of Highlands International School in La Paz, Bolivia. I am married and have one daughter who is now at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Both my wife and daughter have been with me on this journey and are a tremendous blessing from God. I enjoy technology, exploring new places, warm weather, and especially snow skiing, hunting and fishing!
