I attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and earned my BA in English with a concentration in secondary education. I went on to Eastern Michigan University to earn my graduate degree in Written Communications. I am very excited to be teaching middle school! It is one of my favorite grades. I'm an EMU Writing Project Fellow, so composition is very dear to my heart. In order to be productive citizens, we must meet the demands of communication, and in an ever changing world of communication options, it is imperative that students are prepared to function as well informed citizens. My job is to facilitate this guidance, and do it with fidelity and compassion.
